Vancouver, BC, October 27, 2011 – Reach Magazine, together with Vancity Buzz, Yellow Hat Media, and Blenz Coffee, are excited to present the sixth Buzz Entrepreneur Event (Buzz Event) on November 24, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. at Shangri-La Hotel’s Xi Shi Lounge (@XiShi_Van). The event aims to bring young, emerging, and established entrepreneurs together to encourage conversation and relationship building.
“Our city is brimming with remarkable entrepreneurs who are reshaping the competitive business industry and paving the way for new and innovative advances,” says Dammy Og, Buzz Event Founder. “The Buzz Event brings together leading thinkers on a platform that promotes idea sharing, mentorship, and networking. As a fellow entrepreneur, Buzz has been truly rewarding to build and grow so far.”
The evening’s three speakers are:
Amielle Lake, CEO and CO-Founder of Tagga
Amielle Lake co-founded mobile marketing company Tagga, which helps businesses create, optimize, and launch mobile-integrated marketing campaigns.
Lucas Roberts, President and CEO of Macinhome
Lucas Roberts started his career in Macintosh sales and troubleshooting with Mac Station. He is now President and CEO of Macinhome, which provides IT services for Mac users and owners.
Travis Johnson, Co-Owner of Vancouver Circus School
Travis Johnson was the Western Canadian Trampoline Champion at age 12. Since then, he has developed a passion for trampoline coaching and started Vancouver Circus School with his father.

The first Start-Up Spotlight is SpringBoard, founded by locals Sean Bowles, Katherine Quan, and James Sandoval De Chavez. SpringBoard is a crowd-funding platform. It enables people to raise money for business and goodwill projects by collecting small amounts of money from a large group of people.
